Instructions for
Member Beta Testers

Thank you for participating in our members-only beta release.

Prior to releasing Lockr to the general public, we wanted to give you--our community--a chance to take it for a test-drive before everyone else. Just by participating in the Member Beta, you'll receive a special Prime NFT containing special rewards. Learn more about Prime NFTs here.

We value your feedback and input to help us create the best possible Lockr product. As a thank you, we have launched a Community Incentive Program offering great rewards for members that identify potential issues with the experience. Read about our Bug Bounty here.

iPhone Users

Download TestFlight from the App Store. This app allows us to distribute Lockr to you before it is in the App Store.

You should receive an email from BLMP inviting you to participate in this test. Click on the link in that email to get started.

How to participate and what to report

Once you have Lockr installed on your phone, please start to use the app and explore all of the different features you find.

You'll get to a point where you have imported an item or two in your Void. From there you can try to find other users who have set up their voids. Try searching for the user "Epik_Bob", visit his Void, and follow him.

You should be able to connect an Ethereum wallet to Lockr. After doing this, you may see some of the NFTs you have stored in that wallet, and can import them into Lockr. Please note: You may not see all of the NFTs you have in your wallet during this Beta.

While you are testing, tell us about any bugs you see here:

REPORT ISSUES

ABOUT BUGS

While you are testing, you may run into "bugs". Please tell us about any you find.

A bug is when something unexpected happens while you are using our app. The bug may be as simple as a misspelled word, or confusing instructions, or it could be something that prevents you from continuing to use the app, or crashes the app completely resulting in a blank screen, or you are returned to your device home screen.

Essentially, if you see something you didn't expect to see, or if you can't go where you expect to go in the app, report it as a bug here: https://epik.canny.io/lockr-bugs

Good bug reports do this:

  • List which platform you are using (iOS or Android)
  • List the build number (You can find this in TestFlight on iOS and in the "What's new" section of the installation page on Google Play.)
  • Report what you saw versus what you expected to see
  • List the steps to take to reproduce the bug

Screenshots are very helpful too.

Stuck? If you get stuck and the app becomes unresponsive try this:

  • Submit a bug report telling us about how you got stuck. Review the bugs reported by others to see if anyone else is encountering the same problem. We may provide some suggestions to work around the issue.
  • Close the app, and restart
  • If this doesn't help, try uninstalling the app and re-installing
